Angels, memory, and a city at night.
As a human you have no home.
Two angels, Uriel and Theliel, surrender their immortality to dive into the hedonistic nightlife of Budapest and experience life to the absolute max. 35 years later, they reunite to reckon with their past and decide if the fall was truly worth it. Above Budapest is a film about love, friendship and nostalgia, but it is also a poetic portrayal of a world that is slowly disappearing.
Few are the creatures that can witness the ecstasy of their own birth.
